We also make fly casting lessons fun
Teaching someone to fly cast and fly fish is not for everyone. It takes patience’s, it takes passion of fly casting and most of it takes a desire to introduce every and anyone to an exciting way of fishing, fly fishing.
I can’t think of a better or more beautiful place to learn fly fishing and fly casting than the Pensacola FL area. Pensacola Beach, FL and Perdido Key, FL form the western end of Emerald Coast which is known for its wonderful white sand and crystal-clear water. I have travelled to more than a few famous fishing destinations and the Caribbean of Northwest FL ranks right up there them. Even when it is cloudy Pensacola Beach, FL is still a beautiful place.
These big redfish make fishing FUN
Each year, from around late October into early December the big “bull” redfish attack Pensacola Bay and the near shore Gulf of Mexico. If you look at the date it is just about that time of year. Last year, 2024, they showed up in mid October so it is booking time. These fish “herd” up in Pensacola Bay with two things in mind, feeding on the scores of migrating menhaden and then making babies. The sight of 100’s of these 20-40 pound redfish is one to behold. Sometimes anglers freeze at the sight, but soon gather their wits and are rewarded with the golden fall redfish. Whether you are using fly tackle or spinning gear these Pensacola Bay redfish will test your metal. And yes we have both fly and spin tackle to tame ‘em.
